PENT-UP DEMAND?

Have you heard this said about the real estate market? Many in the industry have been talking about it for some time now - About all those buyers out there waiting for "the right time"  For some buyers it means waiting for the market to hit bottom. For others they are waiting till Spring, or income tax refunds or something else..  But all are waiting for some THING.  Pent up demand says when the "thing" happens the Realtors will be rushing to fill ALL the pent up demand for properties.  I am excited and optimistic as I look forward to a great spring market when I believe buyers start leaping off the fence!

By the way, several trusted industry experts say those waiting for the bottom may have already missed it!

Now I have some advice for Sellers who want to take advantage of this great news  -  don’t wait until the “the right time” to put your home on the market.  You may be too late. If you are lucky enough to be there first when the buyers come out of the gate, you stand to gain.  But if you wait too long, you may end up as one of many who get lost in the sea of pent up sellers who have too been waiting for their perfect moment to list.  The law of supply and demand kicks in and what looks like the "perfect" timing ends up being a few moments too late.  If you are thinking of selling your home, NOW is the time to call your trusted real estate advisor.  Let them counsel you on pricing, staging, and strategy for your home.  There are many factors to consider in finding your best timing.  Start talking now, before your window of opportunity starts to close.  This current market requires advanced strategic planning for optimum results!
